New legal information materials available for Aboriginal people in a bail hearing or facing sentencing
Posted December 15, 2009 - Community Legal Education Ontario, the Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres, and Aboriginal Legal Services of Toronto have developed a poster and brochure on Gladue. The materials discuss the importance of a judge knowing that a person is Aboriginal when the judge is setting bail or deciding on a sentence.
