'Rent bank' aims at helping women flee domestic violence

Province to fund three new services for victims of violent crime
Posted July 18, 2007 - The provincial government has announced that it is providing $6 million in three new services for victims of violent crime starting July 16, 2007. The program, called the Victim Quick Response Program, will be available in over 50 communities across the province and will be administered by community agencies in most areas.

St. James Town tenants receive grant to organize, mobilize community
