Police under fire as fresh statistics show charges dropped in 59 per cent of G20 cases
Posted June 22, 2011 - More than 1,100 people were held over the Toronto G20 weekend, the largest mass arrest in Canadian history. Only 317 people were charged with summit-related criminal offences; 187 of these have seen their charges withdrawn, stayed or dismissed; just 24 pleaded guilty.
